abstract In this work a local probe study using perturbed angular correlation spectroscopy in Pr1-xCaxMnO3 small bandwidth manganites is presented. The magnetic hyperfine field study across the Pr1-xCaxMnO3 phase diagram is provided and the results are discussed in terms of mixed-phase ferromagneticlantiferromagnetic states versus canted antiferromagnetism.
