Nuno HCS Silva is the author/co-author of 22 SCI papers (h-index: 12, total citations: 618, co-authors: 68) in international peer reviewed high impact journals (e.g. Biomacromolecules, Carbohydrate Polymers, Green Chemistry and Journal of Materials Chemistry B), 15 of which (ca. 75%) were published in Q1 quartile journals. He is the first author of 50% of the papers (11 SCI papers). Nuno HCS Silva is also the author/co-author of 17 oral communications and 28 poster communications in national and international conferences. According to Publons, he has peer reviewed 28 scientific papers in high impact journals (e.g. ACS Nano, Carbohydrate Polymers). He has already supervised 6 BSc students and 1 MSc student, having currently 2 Bsc students under supervision. He has been participated as a volunteer supervisor during the periodic visits of students from Portuguese High Schools to the Chemistry Department of the University of Aveiro, as well as involved in several dissemination & promotion events of scientific knowledge and culture. He is a member of the European Polysaccharide Network of Excellence (EPNOE) and has been part of the organizing team of the EPNOE Conference 2019. Since 2018, Nuno is delivering classes in “Interpersonal Communication and Presentations” and “Communication in Science” at University of Aveiro. Since 2019, Nuno is delivering classes in Chemistry with practical Lab classes at University of Aveiro.
