Ana Luísa Pereira has a graduation (2016) and a master's degree (2018) in Criminology by the Faculty of Law of the University of Oporto (UP, Portugal). From October 2015 to May 2016, she did her Curricular Internship at the Portuguese National Defense Institute (Nothern Delegation), where she was assistant and researcher. She did a theoretical-empirical work on "Terrorism and Counter-terrorism Measures". Her Dissertation, finished in November 2018, was about “The Sentencing of Corporate Crime”. From March to July 2019 she was an assistant researcher in the international project “Life + Nature Guardians”, working on environmental crime sentencing, collecting and analyzing court decisions data.
She is currently a research fellow at CICECO Chemistry Department at the University of Aveiro, where she is a COST Action (“European Network of Chemicals and Materials FOR Sustainable Development”) Grant Holder Manager/Administrator.
