general aims
- Develop new materials for green energy applications, such as fuel cells, solar cells, capacitors, heat/cold storage, thermoelectric conversion, CO2 separation and CO2-lean industrial processes;
- Increase the performance and added value of materials via surface functionalization for corrosion protection, wear resistance, various sensors, or innovative multifunctional configurations;
- Explore alternative bio-based materials (polylactic acid, cellulose, chitosan or carrageenan) and processes within the two above items.
