Paula Soares Santos obtained her first degree in chemistry (1996) followed by a master in chemistry (2001, organic chemistry, supervisors: Ana Campos and Manuela Raposo) at University of Minho, Portugal.
In 2005 Paula concluded her PhD in chemistry (inorganic chemistry, supervisors: Helena Nogueira and Tito Trindade) at University of Aveiro, Portugal.
From 2005 to 2018, Paula was post-doctoral fellow at CICECO:
(i) in science and materials engineering, under supervison of Helena Nogueira and Luís Carlos (2005-2010),
(ii) in management of science and technology – NMR, under supervision of João Rocha (2010-2018).
On August 1st, 2018, Paula started a PhD holder position (level 3) at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, keeping carrying out the work of management of science and technology of the Solid-state NMR Laboratory of the University of Aveiro.
To date (november, 2018) Paula has published 26 SCI papers and another 2 in an international journal with referee, with more than 750 citations (h-index 13), and presented several communications (oral and poster) in scientific meetings.
