Communication Unit
The Knowledge Refinery (KR) is CICECO’s dedicated unit for institutional communication and public engagement. Its mission is to promote science and knowledge, inspire curiosity, and foster critical thinking, while strengthening the connection between CICECO and society. Through creative and accessible communication strategies, it contributes to building a more informed and critically aware community. KR manages CICECO’s institutional visibility, coordinates its presence in traditional and digital media, supports scientific and outreach events, and produces multimedia content such as podcasts, videos, and exhibitions. It also promotes initiatives at the intersection of science, art, and culture, and collaborates with educational and cultural institutions. KR seeks to strengthen its role as a creative and strategic platform, expanding CICECO’s social impact through engaging content, consistent institutional communication, and collaborative outreach initiatives.
