To celebrate International Ceramics Day on 12 March, CICECO members organize the first edition of this celebration at the Department of Materials Engineering and Ceramics (DEMAC) of the University of Aveiro.
To commemorate the occasion, two main activities are being organized:
• Exhibition of works, taking place throughout the week (until 13 March), showcasing ceramic pieces and projects developed by members of the academic community.
• Round Table discussion bringing together representatives from industry and academia, primarily aimed at students, to foster dialogue on professional pathways, innovation, and current challenges in the ceramic sector (on the 12th of March).
Round Table Discussion
As part of the programme, we invite everyone to participate in the round table taking place Thursday, 12 March, at 15:00. This session will provide an opportunity to hear different perspectives from both industry and academia, encouraging an open discussion on innovation, emerging challenges, and the future of the ceramics field.
