Yongwei got his M.Sc. degree in Inorganic Chemistry from Fuzhou University, China. In 2020-2023, in the scope of his master's project, he developed high photoluminescence quantum yield lanthanide-doped nanoparticles for bio-applications. In Oct 2023, he started his Ph.D. studies in Phantom-g under the supervision of Prof. Luis Carlos and Prof. Carlos Brites. His research focuses on the fluorescent protein and lanthanide-doped nanoparticles for luminescence thermometry.
