Equivalência do grau de Licenciatura em Engenharia Química, obtido na Universidade Simón Bolívar, Venezuela, ao grau de Licenciado em Engenharia Química pela Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto, Portugal, Julho, 1995. Doutoramento em Engenharia Química conferido pela Faculdade de Engenharia Universidade do Porto, 2000.
