Margarida is a Master's student in Biomedical Engineering, at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), where she is developing her thesis in the area of starch-based materials with microbial detection capabilities, focusing on innovative and sustainable solutions with potencial biomedical and industrial applications, while working as a research fellow of the BIOCOATING project.
