Description

The Laser4Implant project – Laser Additive Processing of Titanium Alloys for the Manufacturing of Custom Medical Devices – aims to explore new laser printing strategies for the production of personalized subperiosteal implants using directed energy deposition. The goal is to enable new designs, concepts, and value-added products with enhanced functionalities, in order to improve the biological performance of current implants, particularly regarding osseointegration and other biological processes such as angiogenesis.
