Carolina has completed her MSc in Chemical Engineering in 2018, at the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and is nowadays doing a PhD in Chemical Engineering, also at the University of Aveiro (Portugal), while working as a research fellow of the PLASTICOLIGHT project. Her main scientific research focus is the development of thermoplastics with increased biodegradability compatible with extrusion processes through the use of agrifood byproducts as renewable and biobased feedstocks.
