Inês Vilarinho has currently a Postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering and CICECO-Aveiro Institute of Materials at University of Aveiro (UA). She graduated in Master of Science degree in Chemical engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Engineering University, Portugal in 2010 and got her Industrial PhD in Refining, Petrochemical and Chemical Engineering from Universidade de Coimbra, Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, Portugal in 2019 in collaboration with Bondalti Chemicals. Since 2019, she is at the University of Aveiro where she worked on 3 projects (2 national and 1 international), tutoring 3 MSc students, supervised 3 MSc student, had 2 oral and 6 poster presentations, have an accepted oral presentation, 2 articles in open access journals, namely Sustainability and Metals, and submitted 4 projects, 3 as principal investigator (national and EU). Moreover, she has 1 chapter (s) of books, organized 2 events and received 3 prizes and / or honours. Inês Vilarinho interests rely on sustainable development and circular economy, always considering the environmental impact of the processes/products. She is interested in the research and development of new materials and processes that can help solving the industrial challenges in an efficient, economic, dynamic and innovative way.
