Born on December 21st, 1994 Ana C. Q. Silva obtained her BSc degree in Biochemistry from University of Aveiro, Portugal, in 2015, and her MSc degree in Biochemistry - Biomolecular Methods from the same institution in 2017.
Ana C. Q. Silva is currently a PhD student at CICECO - Aveiro Institute of Materials, University of Aveiro, Portugal in Biochemistry. She is working under the supervision of Dr. Carmen S. R. Freire and co-supervision of Professor Armando J. D. Silvestre and Dr. Carla Vilela. Her research activities are mainly focused in the use of cellulose and its derivatives for biomedical applications.
