CELLIMMUNE technology selected among the 10 finalists for the Jorge Ruas Award
The CELLIMMUNE team, coordinated by Mariana Oliveira and including Eduarda Mota da Silva and Marlene Correia, has been selected among the 10 finalists for the Jorge Ruas Award, the flagship distinction of the Tecnimede Open Innovation Competition 2026, with a technology developed at CICECO that aims to advance next generation immunomodulation therapies.
João Mano honoured with Humboldt Research Award for biomaterials research
He attended the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Annual Meeting 2026 in Berlin, where he formally received the award alongside other distinguished researchers from around the world. The event brings together members of the global Humboldt Network, one of the world's largest international scientific communities.
