Scientific Interests

Luciana has been developing a very significant research on the molecular mechanisms that control the behavior of biocompounds in aqueous solutions.

Since 2008, she has been active in this area and has successfully applied thermodynamics, spectroscopic and computational methods to the study of the interactions occurring in several relevant (bio)chemical systems. That work has enabled noticeable progresses as far as the understanding of the molecular mechanisms that govern the behavior of biological systems are concerned and have provided important contributions to this field.
