SIDERWIN - Horizon 2020 European Project: Development of new methodologies for industrial CO2 – free steel production by electrowinning

Research Interests

Electrochemical reduction; processing of cellular ceramics for electrolytic and catalytic applications; water splitting for hydrogen generation; iron waste recycling and valorisation; wastewater treatment; adsorption; catalysis.

Awards

- Full scholarship for attending a PhD course on minerals industry sustainability within a Nordic context, offered to 20 people by NordMin company, in Luleå University of Technology, Sweden (2014)

- Award for the 3% of the best students in the course of the Integrated Master Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Coimbra (2010)

- Award for the 3% of the best students in the course of the Integrated Master Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Coimbra (2009)
