Broad areas of scientific interest

  Condensed mater physics, Functional materials and thin films.

 

    Specific Research Interests:

Preparation and characterization of functional electroceramics (bulk, thin and thick films) for dielectric, piezoelectric, ferroelectric and multiferroic applications Development of high quality functional materials for compatible integration at low costs and low temperatures Nanostructures and nanotechnology aspects of functional  electroceramics Electrical and structural characterization of electroceramics using (impedance spectroscopy, piezo- ferroelectric analysis, scanning probe microscopy, electron microscopy) Microwave measurement techniques. Optical and electrical properties of bulk ceramics and thin films. Microwave processing of ceramics. Microwave device designs, fabrication and testing. Electro phorectic deposition for thick film electro ceramics Pulsed laser deposition RF and DC sputtering for oxide ceramics
