Crystallization of microporous titanosilicate membranes from clear solutions

abstract

The preparation of ETS-10 and AM-2 powders and membranes from clear solution has been studied. Membranes have been prepared on porous alpha-alumina tubular supports by seeding and secondary growth process. Well intergrown ETS-10 and AM-2 membranes with a thickness of ca. 2.5 mu m have been obtained after 24 and 15.5 h, respectively. The samples were characterized by XRD, SEM and Raman spectroscopy.
