Post-doc Fellowship

Short CV

Since 03/2008 - Pos-doc at the Molecular Modelling Group at University of Aveiro.

2003 - 2007 - PhD at ITQB (Universidade Nova de Lisboa) in Chemistry with the thesis "New molecular arquictetures for the encapsulation of anions".

2001 - 2003 Fellowship awarded by Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia to work at Instituto de Tecnologia Química e Biológica, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal.

2001 - Degree in Chemical Engineering, Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon, Portugal.

Scientific Interests

The scientific interests are related with the computational studies of the receptor-substrate associations. The receptors may be organic or biological compounds and the substrates molecules with biological or environmental interest. The main goal is to obtain a better knowledge of this type of associations in order to develop better synthetically receptors and more efficiencies drugs.
