A Sterically Congested Nitrogenated Benzodipentaphene with a Double pi-Expanded Helicene Structure


Herein, we describe a series of three sterically congested nitrogenated benzodipentaphenes, one of which shows a highly distorted aromatic backbone with an unprecedented double p-expanded helicene structure.
