A general soft-chemistry route to metal phosphate nanocrystals

resumo

The "benzyl alcohol route" was extended for the synthesis of various metal phosphate nanocrystals. The proposed one pot reaction leads to narrocrystalline titanium, zirconium, vanadium, yttrium and lanthanide phosphates at a yield above 90%. The synthesized particles are characterized by a high crystallinity and a small size distribution. (C) 2009 The Korean Society of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry. Published by Elsevier B.V.
