abstract |
A chemical bath deposition method (CBD) to prepare BiVO4 coatings on a glass substrate is described. The synthetic method uses the thermal treatment of aqueous solutions containing a bismuth(Ill) ethylenediaminetetra-acetate chelate and vanadium (V) species. The deposition method is selective relative to the crystalline phase deposited, yielding pure monoclinic BiVO4. The BiVO4 coatings consist of morphological well-defined particles with properties that depend on the synthetic parameters used. (C) 2002 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved. |
