-Production of nanostructured platforms for drug delivery applications (inorganic nanoparticles, biopolymeric nanosystems, hybrid materials).

-in vitro drug release studies.

-Synthesis and characterization of new metal-based compounds (metallodrugs) and evaluation of their biological properties (anticancer, anti-diabetic, antimicrobial, and antioxidant).

-DNA and albumin binding capacity.

-Preparation and characterization of polymer, ceramic and composite materials for biomedical applications.

-Cytotoxicity/biocompatibility in vitro studies.
