Two novel supramolecular organic-inorganic adducts containing dibenzo-30-crown-10 and H3PM12O40 (M = W or Mo)

abstract

Two novel compounds with the molecular formula (H3O)(3)[PM12O40]-3(C28H40O10) [where C28H40O10 = dibenzo-30-crown-10 and M = W (1) or Mo (2)] were isolated in the solid state and their crystal structures were determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. The compounds were further characterized using FT-IR, FT-Raman, solid-state magic-angle-spinning NMR and elemental analysis. These supramolecular organic-inorganic hybrid frameworks are formed by one alpha-Keggin-type [PM12O40](3-) polyoxoanion and three {(H3O)(C28H40O10)}(+) monocationic hydrogen-bonded fragments.
