SYNOPSIS OF C.V.

Hugo Fernandes was graduated in Ceramics and Glass Engineering by the University of Aveiro (UA) in 1997 and was awarded with a PhD degree in Materials Science and Engineering by the same university in 2012 under the supervision of Professor José M.F. Ferreira and Dr. Dilshat U. Tulyaganov.
After some years working at ceramic industry, Hugo initiated his research activities at UA in 2004 and Post-Doctoral activities in Advanced Materials Processing group (CICECO - UA) in 2013. He has published more than 58 papers in international peer reviewed journals with over 1960 citations (h index 24) and has supervised and co-supervised several PhD and master thesis.
