Description
The Smart Green Homes (SGH) Project aims to develop integrated product and technology solutions for the households, raising standards of comfort, safety and user satisfaction to a new level and, at the same time, to respond to the problems of sustainability of the Planet, increasing the energy efficiency and reducing the emission of gaseous pollutants and the consumption of water.
The aim of the Project is the development of a new generation of Bosch products and services, helping to strengthen research, technological development and innovation. Being developed in co-promotion between Bosch Thermotechnology S.A. and University of Aveiro, it intends to consolidate a strong collaboration between the co-promoters and allow the reinforcement of Bosch R&D competences. It will lead to the expansion of the portfolio of solutions developed in Aveiro, increasingly efficient, disruptive in the market and at a competitive cost, which are not easily replicable or adaptable by other companies, to consolidate Bosch's position as world leader in thermotechnologies in the residential sector.
Innovative solutions will be created in heat pumps, air treatment systems, gas heating, electric heating, water treatment and interface and control of residential services, which not only increase people's quality of life but also make homes more smart and more sustainable.
The aim is to reach new goals in the area of energy, environment, natural resources and comfort in the residential sector.
