Mesoporous Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Materials: Periodic mesoporous organosilica (PMO). Structure-directed synthesis of nanostructured organic/inorganic composites and host/guest compounds as well as of mesoporous materials.

Mesoporous powders, mesoporous thin films.

Low dielectric constant thin films. Synthesis and immobilisation of organometallic complexes in pillared layered clays.

Designed materials for catalytic applications and adsorption. Photocatalysts.

Growth of one-dimensional perovskite nanostructures.Size and shape influence on the ferroelectric properties of the materials. Mesoporous ferroelectric powders and thin films.

Functionalization of porous functional thin film matrices with other nature functional nanoparticles for multifunctional materials, such as, multiferroics.

Development of new functional materials to be incorporated in biopolymers to enhance their properties towards active and intelligent food packaging.

Design of sustainable flexible devices by chemical methods.
